Weining Yue, formerly an IP specialist at King & Wood Mallesons, has moved to Shihui Partners, taking more than 30 of his KWM colleagues with him.
Shihui Partners calls IP one of its “core practice areas.” Yue will be a partner and head of Shihui’s IP practice. He is a graduate of Peking University with degrees in computer science and technology.
Yue handles areas in computer software and algorithms, computer system architecture, artificial intelligence, communications and cloud computing, automotive and vehicle networking, mechanical structure, robot, chips and semiconductors, and others. His team is expected to advise on various sub-fields of IP protection in the electrical field, including complex, frontline and innovative technology patent cases.
