Paul Haswell joins Howse Williams in Hong Kong

Paul Haswell has joined Howse Williams in Hong Kong as a partner. Haswell joins the firm from K&L Gates.
Haswell’s practice focuses on non-contentious and contentious technology work, including technology contracts and licensing, data privacy and cybersecurity (including compliance with applicable data protection laws), telecommunications, outsourcing, licensing, cloud and data centres. He also advises on “new tech” and evolving technologies including artificial intelligence, blockchain and cryptocurrencies. Haswell has worked on major technology disputes that have been resolved through litigation, arbitration and mediation.
Haswell has more than 20 years of experience working with dedicated technology companies as well as clients from a broad range of industries who need clear and focused advice on all things tech. He also regularly writes on issues relevant to technology and is a regular speaker at conferences.
Howse Williams now has 33 partners, 4 consultants and a total headcount of approximately 200.
