Yugao Wang has joined King & Wood Mallesons as a partner in the firm’s Suzhou office, where he specializes in IP litigation, particularly in the areas of trademark, unfair competition, and copyright.
Wang has extensive hands-on experience in IP litigation; having been practicing for nearly 26 years, he has led a large number of IP and commercial dispute cases for many well-known international enterprises, involving trademark and unfair competition infringement disputes, copyright infringement disputes, corporate disputes, and contract disputes of various kinds in industries, including food, consumer goods, telecommunications, and high-tech.
Wang has advised Suzhou Dingsheng Food Co.’s appeals against administrative penalties for trademark infringement imposed by the Suzhou Administration for Industry and Commerce. He also has advised in the trademark infringement dispute between Dongguan Hsu-chi Food Co. and Suzhou Futong Marketing Planning Co., Nantong Shouxing Food Co. and Liu Ming.
Prior to joining KWM, he was a senior partner at Jiangsu Justwin Law Firm.
