Rui Bai Law Firm adds China corporate head

Beijing Rui Bai Law Firm, a licensed PRC law firm and a member of the PwC global network of law firms, has announced that Barbara Li is joining the firm as the head of corporate, China.

Li is a long-term veteran in the China market who brings more than two decades’ experience and expertise in advising international and Chinese companies and financial institutions on large scale and complex cross-border transactions. She is dual-qualified in China and in England and Wales; she focuses her practice on foreign direct investment, M&A, joint ventures and outbound investment. She has particular interest and expertise in the TMT, FinTech and infrastructure industries, with extensive experience advising on cybersecurity, data privacy, TMT regulatory compliance and development of infrastructure projects.

She joins from Norton Rose Fulbright, where she spearheaded the China TMT and FinTech practices and specialized in providing legal support in development and investment in infrastructure projects. She will lead the corporate practice of Rui Bai and work closely together with Shanghai Xin Bai Law Firm (also a licensed PRC law firm and a member of the PwC global network of firms), Tiang & Partners (an independent Hong Kong law firm which is associated with PwC Legal International Pte Ltd, a licensed Foreign Law Practice, in Singapore), and more widely with regional and global offices of PwC network firms.
