Gigi Cheah And Justin Davidson Are Joining Norton Rose

Norton Rose has announced that former DLA Piper intellectual property partners Gigi Cheah and Justin Davidson are set to join the firm’s global intellectual property, communications, media and technology team as lateral partner hires. Cheah is a non-contentious intellectual property and technology lawyer who specialises in technology procurement, licensing, outsourcing, life sciences, data privacy and commercial work as well as telecoms broadcasting and competition work. Davidson is both a contentious and non-contentious IP lawyer who focuses on transactional, exploitation and advisory IP work; IP disputes and prosecution; general commercial and life sciences work. Norton Rose has made several moves lately to strengthen its presence in Asia and the Pacific, including its early 2010 merger with Deacons Australia.
