AWA Asia, the Asian arm of European intellectual property firm Awapatent, has promoted Ashley Zhao to partner in its Beijing office. Zhao has been in the trademark field since 2005, and was admitted to the PRC Bar in 2008. She is regularly involved in both contentious and non-contentious brand management and related advisory matters (including domain name, internet law, advertising law and antiunfair competitions matters) in China. She manages the firm’s trademark prosecution practice and heads the firm’s operations in Beijing. Zhao was part of the founding team when AWA Asia launched in February 2015.Law firms
