Protest Frenzy Leads Government to Change Proposed Copyright Law Amendments

Furious protests against proposed amendments to New Zealand's Copyright Act have caused the government to re-think its position. Newly proposed changes would release ISPs from the obligation to terminate accounts of repeat infringers.
