China Sword Net Action targeted at stricter music protection

Associate Chief of State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television of The People's Republic of China, Yan Xiaohong recently said the "Sword Net Action" in 2015 would target at intellectual property protection in music industry.


Yan also said that the new Copyright Law that is currently being modified by the State is the third edition of China Copyright Law, in which the amount of penalty would be raised. 

 

The "Sword Net Action" is a movement to combat Internet infringement in mainland China that initiated 10 years ago.
