Reagan Roy has been named partner at Makarim & Taira S., a leading Indonesian law firm known for its commitment to nurturing legal talent. Roy’s promotion was announced on March 15, 2024.
Roy brings expertise to his new role in the areas of data protection, franchising and licensing, and employment law. His proficiency in contract drafting, compliance, and legal structuring has been honed through years of experience. Additionally, Roy has made significant contributions in corporate mergers and acquisitions, media and entertainment, intellectual property rights, hospitality, consumer goods and services, foreign investment and general corporate practice.
Notable projects in Roy’s portfolio include the acquisition of payment processing companies by a tech solutions provider and the merger of two leading chemical corporations. His academic background includes degrees from Curtin University and Universitas Indonesia, earned in 2006 and 2011, respectively.
