Michael Morris joins Gadens’ corporate advisory practice

Michael Morris has joined Gadens as a new partner in the firm’s corporate advisory practice in Brisbane.
With more than 23 years of legal experience, Morris is a well-recognized legal expert in data, intellectual property, information technology and telecoms. His experience includes advising local, national and international organizations, and government on numerous legal and governance issues relating to these practice areas.
Morris joined the firm from Allens.
“Michael has impressive national and international experience and knowledge in the areas of data, IT, IP and telecoms and I am happy to have another trusted advisor join us in these rapidly changing areas of the law,” said Paul Spiro, chair of the firm’s Brisbane office.
Commenting on his appointment, Morris said: “Starting at a new firm is always an exciting experience, but I am particularly looking forward to working with the Gadens team as they are well known for their work on complex, large-scale IP and IT legal issues.”
