David Case Forms His Own Firm, Asia Pacific Law

David Case, a long-time US lawyer working in Japan, has left Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe to form his own firm, Asia Pacific Law, to advise and assist clients in Japan and the US with their intellectual property, commercial transactions, venture capital investments and dispute-related needs in the US and Asia. Case spent more than two decades at Orrick and White & Case. According to a statement, the new firm will be based on the US west coast. Case focused on IP litigation and arbitration work for Japanese clients, including matters in U.S. courts at Orrick. He was head of the Japan and North Asia IP and commercial litigation practices at White & Case before joining Orrick in 2013.
