Arpit Choudhary has joined ANM Global’s Mumbai office as partner, where he will work in the firm’s media and entertainment practice. ANM Global is a full-service commercial law firm; Choudhary is the third M&E lawyer at the firm, joining Anushree Rauta, an equity partner who leads the practice, and partner Suresh Amesar.
Choudhary has more than a decade in media and entertainment. He has represented several A-list producers, broadcasters, studios, production houses, content aggregators and celebrities in various high-stakes litigation and non-litigious matters. He specializes in media rights management and has in-depth knowledge of media and digital rights; structuring transactions for the co-production of films and web series; acquisition of content; and advisory for dispute resolution.
ANM Global has a well-established M&E practice, with clients including film production companies, producers, OTT platforms, TV channels, artists, actors, film financiers, digital media companies and studios.
Choudhary was previously a lawyer with Bar & Brief Attorneys; his career also includes stops at Sony Pictures Networks, Naik Naik & Company, Zee Entertainment Enterprises and Publicis Groupe.
