Attorney-at-law Vu Khanh Toan Pham, founder and managing partner of Pham & Associates, possesses extensive knowledge across all aspects of IP protection, with a particular focus on trademarks, patents, copyrights and unfair competition. With over 35 years of experience, he has not only driven the firm’s leadership but also directly handled and successfully resolved numerous complex cases. These include AstraZeneca v. KHV (Quinazoline patent), the reclamation of the Vinataba trademark registered in bad faith abroad, FKP Sojuzplodoimport v. Spirits International (Russian Vodka trademark), the X-Men character dispute, the author ownership dispute over the “Infant Prodigies of Viet Country” comic series, Honda’s enforcement against local motorcycle manufacturers and the protection of VIFON’s trade name and Perfetti Van Melle’s trademarks.

Apart from being an industrial property representative, Pham is also a certified independent trademark assessor, fully qualified to sit on evaluation councils and perform judicial IP expert evaluations upon request from competent authorities.
