Shandong: Fake Snacks Seized

Police in Linyi city seized seven suspects and more than 5,000 boxes of fake snacks with the tagline of "Want Want Ice-Pop" and a potential sales value of Rmb600,000 (US$97,230). Packaging equipment and more than 240 boxes of materials were also found.

 

Police told China Daily that the suspects made fake labels to package the snacks in a village and then delivered them to a warehouse, without distributing the fakes themselves.
