Morgan Lewis Establishes New Office In Shanghai

Global law firm Morgan Lewis has established a new office in Shanghai, the firm’s sixth in Asia, its second in China, and its 29th worldwide. The firm’s Shanghai office will be led by global corporate transactional lawyers Mitch Dudek and will focus on corporate and commercial work, but will also advise on technology licensing, intellectual property protection and enforcement, labour and employment and the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and the UK Bribery Act. In 2015, Morgan Lewis secured a base of operations in Singapore with the establishment of Morgan Lewis Stamford, and in late 2014, the firm significantly expanded its Tokyo office with the addition of lawyers from Bingham McCutchen. These offices joined the firm’s other Asia offices in Beijing, Almaty, and Astana.
