Litigator Lijun Chui joins Bird & Bird in Singapore

International law firm Bird & Bird has named commercial litigation specialist Lijun Chui as a partner in its dispute resolution practice in Singapore.
Chui specializes in commercial dispute resolution and contentious regulatory and investigation matters. She has experience in international and domestic arbitrations involving the technology, banking, construction, shipping, oil and gas sectors. She also advises financial institutions and major corporations on various regulatory issues including market misconduct, competition and corruption legislation.
Chui joins from Clifford Chance, where she spearheaded the Singapore tech disputes and regulatory practice, which was developed from a greenfield operation to a sizeable practice ranging from tech disputes and investigations to advising on cyber crisis handling and data privacy. She has supported clients on cyber-security, e-commerce, personal data protection, intellectual property and fintech matters. Her practice is cross-border with clients headquartered in the United States, Europe and across Southeast Asia with a focus on inbound, as well as domestic, work. She advises clients on English law, Singapore law and on issues/disputes under the laws of India, Vietnam, Thailand and China (in partnership with local counsel).
