Jack Tsang has joined the Fisher Broyles in London as a partner. Tsang joins the firm from King & Wood Mallesons, where he represented companies at various stages of their lifecycles, from Series A through to IPO, as well as founders, venture capital, private equity and strategic investors. He has particular expertise in cross-border investment and M&A, venture capital and capital markets deals between Asia, Europe, and the U.S.
Tsang’s experience spans the entire tech and innovation sector and, in recent years, he has developed a focus on HealthTech, life sciences and EdTech. He is particularly active in the UK’s Cambridge, Oxford and London “tech triangle,” the Greater Bay Area of southern China and the ASEAN innovation ecosystem.
Earlier in his career, Tsang worked both at Slaughter and May and Simmons & Simmons in London and Hong Kong where he gained experience in large-cap M&A, public takeovers, privatizations and capital markets, including advising on a number of Am Law and IFLR award-winning transactions. He maintains an active capital markets practice focusing on tech and life sciences listings on HKSE, LSE and NASDAQ.
“I am delighted to join at a time when Fisher Broyles is growing its London offering and exploring expansion in Asia,” Tsang said. “I am looking forward to making use of my experience and expertise to help develop and support the further growth of the links between the UK and Asian tech and life sciences ecosystems – one which I believe will become ever more important in the years to come post-Brexit.”
