Gaurav Chhibber named to Chadha & Chadha’s patents team

Gaurav Chhibber has joined Chadha & Chadha in Gurgaon as a partner in the firm’s patents team.
Chhibber started his IP career with Chadha & Chadha as a patent associate in 2012, where he focused on electronics, telecoms and software. He was involved with drafting and prosecution of patent applications pertaining to computing, electronics and communication technologies including artificial intelligence, cloud computing, neural networks, machine learning, embedded systems, multimedia devices, telecommunications, data transmission. He also worked on PCT matters and was responsible for managing patent portfolios for several clients.
After five years at the firm, he joined Tata Motors Limited as an in-house counsel, where he was responsible for harnessing intellectual properties including patents, designs and copyrights from the inventors. During his time at Tata Group, he drafted and prosecuted numerous patent applications across the spectrum of technologies and was involved in several initiatives regarding inventors’ education and spreading IP awareness as well as those for enhancing IP culture in the company.
