Dentons launches in Thailand through combination with local firm
06 March 2026
Dentons has officially launched its combination with Pisut & Partners, a leading Thai law firm. With the announcement, Dentons extends its presence into seven of the largest economies in the ASEAN region, offering global capabilities coupled with local knowledge in Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam and, now, Thailand.
For almost a decade, the full-service Pisut & Partners has served clients across practice areas such as dispute resolution, corporate/M&A, employment and competition and antitrust.
Thailand is a major economy in the ASEAN region, driven by a strong manufacturing base, a world-leading tourism sector, and rapid growth in digital technology and energy. With increasing foreign investment and government support for innovation, the country is becoming a key hub for cross-border business in the region, the firm noted in a statement.
“Joining Dentons marks the start of an exciting new chapter for our firm,” said Pisut Rakwong, managing partner of Pisut & Partners. “Together, we are combining trusted local expertise with Dentons’ global scale to deliver seamless solutions for clients in Thailand and beyond. This partnership positions us to anticipate change and help businesses succeed in an increasingly interconnected economy.”
“Our presence in Thailand underscores Dentons’ long-term commitment to ASEAN as a key driver of global growth,” said Kate Barton, global CEO of Dentons. “Looking ahead, we will continue to connect clients with world-class talent and innovative strategies to succeed in this exciting and important market on the world stage.”
“Pisut & Partners brings exceptional talent and a strong reputation in Thailand, making them an ideal partner for our ASEAN team,” said Gerald Singham, CEO of Dentons’ ASEAN region. “Together, through our shared commitment to excellence and client-centricity, we are focused on shaping the future of legal services in Thailand and across the region.”
The announcement follows Dentons recent launches in the Turks and Caicos Islands, Ethiopia, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Cameroon and Senegal.
