Bracewell & Giuliani has added partner Douglas F Stewart to its Seattle IP litigation practice. Stewart’s practice emphasizes assisting Japanese technology companies with US patent issues.
Stewart, a registered patent attorney, focuses on patent infringement litigation and counselling. He represents clients in technologies including wireless network encryption, database optimization, telematics, cellular network data transmission, computer hardware and software, and chemical preservatives, among others.
Stewart joins with associate Jared Schuettenhelm, who is a registered patent attorney and formerly a scientist and process engineer in the medical device industry; both were with Dorsey & Whitney in Seattle prior to joining Bracewell & Giuliani.
