Alexander Shepherd Joins Pinsent Masons As TMC Partner In Singapore

Alexander Shepherd has joined Pinsent Masons as a technology, media and communications partner in its Singapore office. Shephard joins from Bird and Bird where he was a partner in the technology and communications team. He has been based in Singapore for six years; prior to that, he was based in Dubai for seven years where he led the Middle East and Africa TMT practice at Simmons & Simmons. He has extensive experience advising on a broad range of commercial, regulatory, technology, media and telecommunications matters particularly in Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia and Myanmar. He also advises on cross-border data privacy and cyber-security matters, both in relation to compliance with Asia Pacific regulatory regimes and compliance with GDPR for businesses operating internationally.
