APEX Opened a Korea Desk At Indochine Counsel’s Office

Indochine Counsel and Korean law firm APEX have opened a Korea Desk at Indochine Counsel’s office in Ho Chi Minh City. The desk will be jointly managed and operated by the two firms, and will act as APEX’s Vietnam office. The two firms are not otherwise merging, and will remain independent, according to a statement. APEX has recently played a leading role in providing legal servicesfor Korean corporations in their expansion of business to Southeast Asian countries such as Cambodia, Vietnam and Indonesia. The desk will be jointly managed and operated by the two firms, and will act as APEX’s Vietnam office. The two firms are not otherwise merging, and will remain independent, according to a statement. APEX has recently played a leading role in providing legal services for Korean corporations in their expansion of business to Southeast Asian countries such as Cambodia, Vietnam and Indonesia.

“With the increased investment and trade between Vietnam and Korea, the joint operation of the Korean Desk in Vietnam will be a fruitful and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two firms,” said Dang The Duc, managing partner of Indochine Counsel.

Kyung Cheon Lee will represent APEX’s interests in the joint operation, while Bui Ngoc Hong, a partner at Indochine, will be in charge of the Korean Desk.
