Lenin brings IP, biotech expertise to the partnership.
Biplab Lenin has been promoted to partner at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas in Delhi, where he is part of the firm’s pharma and life sciences team. He graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology in Karagpur in 2012 specializing in intellectual property; he also completed a B. Tech. in industrial biotechnology in 2009. He joined CAM in 2016 after serving as associate legal manager at Mahyco.
He has a decade of experience and focuses on dealing with contentious and non-contentious work pertaining to pharmaceutical, healthcare, patent, biotechnology food and nutraceuticals related legislations, life sciences and intellectual property including patent, plant variety and biodiversity related matters. He is also registered to practice before Indian Patent office.
