Hwee Yee Tan promoted to senior associate at LAW Partnership

Hwee Yee Tan has been promoted to senior associate in the intellectual property practice group at the LAW Partnership in Kuala Lumpur.
Tan specializes in a broad range of matters involving IP disputes as well as commercial and debt recovery claims. She also advises local and international clients on non-contentious matters such as commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, e-commerce, personal data protection and cybersecurity. She has recently assisted in advising clients on anti-bribery and anti-corruption matters particularly on the new provision of corporate liability pursuant to §17A of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Act 2009.
Tan graduated from the University of Leeds, England, with a Bachelor of Laws (Hon) in 2014. She was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2015 and was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2016.
