LESI 2025: Culture takes centre stage

Delegates and guests enjoyed an evening of culture and conversation at the end of the first full day of the Licensing Executive Society International (LESI) Annual Conference in Singapore on Monday evening.

The historic Clifford Pier, constructed in 1938 and named after Sir Hugh Clifford, a former governor of the Straits Settlement, played host to the event, which saw delegates experience local Singaporean crafts and local foods. Clifford Pier is now part of the Fullerton Hotel, named after the first governor of the Straits Settlement.

Attendees enjoyed henna tattoos, rice dumplings, ketupat weaving, Chinese rainbow calligraphy and Singapore’s signature food, chicken rice – all set against the backdrop of the Marina Bay.

The networking reception took part on the second day of the LESI Annual Conference, being held in Singapore April 27-29, 2025.
