SS& R Legal Consultants (SR Legals) is an Indonesian law firm that provides legal assistances in commercial law, with focus on Corporate Law & Foreign Direct Investments, including Intellectual Property, Energy & Infrastructure, and Dispute Resolution.

Established in 2000 by experienced lawyers from leading law firms and multinational corporations, SR Legals combines commercial insight with strong legal capabilities. To date, the firm has advised and represented individual and institutional clients from around the world engaging in business activity in Indonesia.

In a recent strategic engagement, the firm assisted an Indonesian geothermal company in protect & commercializing their patented invention. Our team provided end-to-end assistance, including securing the patent and trademark registrations across the countries, advising and assisting them on the patent license and the patent commercialization agreement, bridging the parties involved thereto, including the patent owner, the inventors, the manufacturer and an international multinational company as the distributor and the licensee to ensure that the arrangement would result in economic value and scalable commercial outcomes that align with client’s business objectives.
