Overview

I started my working life before graduating my postgraduate on intellectual property law from Queen Mary, University of London. As a legal officer at the Department of Intellectual Property that looked after all intellectual property matters, including but not limited to trademark, patent and copyright, my day-to-day work was to render legal advice on issues that needed legal opinion. My other responsibilities also covered preparation of proposed amendment to legislations that the Department looks after.

After I spent around 5 years of civil services, I left for a private practice by joining a firm that practices all fields of intellectual property and information technology where I put my experiences in the government sector to good use. I was able to use my knowledge in relevant legislations into practice and enhanced the private practice to the next level.

After spending 5 years in that firm, I moved to a larger firm where I can enjoy handling in wider practices. I could also develop my own client base and handled my own assignments both in and out bounds on a more varieties of practices.
