Overview

Kritchawat Chainapasak is a partner at Satyapon & Partners Limited, heading the patent and design departments. Chainapasak joined the firm in 1995, and has been with firm from day one, having over 30 years of experience working on complex patent and trademark disputes. He is mainly focused on technical aspects involving patent and design prosecution, contentious and transactional matters. Over the last three decades, Chainapasak has gained expertise on a wide range of field of patent inventions and designs. He directly oversees the enormous volume of patent prosecution work the firm handles, and leads a team of qualified patent attorneys, patent agents and technical experts, as well as in-house and external translators for patent filings. Chainapasak also advises on patent design matters, and is adept in drafting of patent specifications as well as design drawings, a challenging feat for an IP lawyer.

Leading a team that handles complex patents from every scientific field is no mean feat. Satyapon & Partners’ clients include some of the largest companies in the world in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, electrical, chemical, material and mechanical engineering, aerospace, automotive and many more industries. Chainapasak is also actively involved in representing the clients in several trademark and patent litigation cases at the CIPIT Court, and has been instrumental over the years in getting memorable wins for the clients at the courts, helping obtain registration for their brands in Thailand.
