Overview

Victor Yang is the founder and CEO of PurpleVine IP Group, a premier IP service provider based in Shenzhen. A recognized leader in the global intellectual property landscape, Yang combines extensive legal expertise with deep industrial insight to deliver creative, balanced solutions for complex cross-border IP and licensing challenges. He is widely respected for his ability to bridge the gap between Chinese enterprises and international markets.

Prior to founding PurpleVine, Yang served as vice president and global general counsel at TCL, and chief legal counsel at Alstom China. His background enables him to offer strategic counsel that aligns intellectual property with business objectives.

Yang holds a Master’s of Law from the University of Cambridge and both a Bachelor’s of Arts and a Master’s of Law from China Foreign Affairs University. He also obtained an EMBA from the Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business. He is a qualified PRC attorney, an arbitrator for the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC) and a qualified independent director for listed companies.
