Overview

Aisha Alkaff obtained her Bachelor of Laws (LLB Hons) from University of London in 1976. She was called to the English Bar (Lincoln’s Inn) in 1977 and was called to the Singapore Bar upon her return to Singapore in 1978. Aisha was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the Brunei Supreme Court in 1982 and was appointed Commissioner for Oaths in 1994.

Aisha has extensive experience in IP and has put AIP Law in the lead for many years in this field. She also specializes in corporate and conveyancing work such as the preparation of various types of legal agreements from joint venture agreements to all manner of conveyancing documents as well as banking security documents, both conventional and Islamic. She has a wealth of experience in Brunei law in general and has been the lawyer of choice for many well-known international entities who wish to establish a presence in the country.

Aisha’s keen insight into the complexities of IP law has enabled her to effectively navigate the regulatory landscapes in Brunei and beyond. She has been instrumental in advising both local and international clients on the management and protection of their IP assets. She is adept at assisting clients leverage their IP portfolios and ensure compliance with both regional and international IP laws.
