ZeusIP has elevated four principal associates to the role of partner, the firm announced in a press release. Promoted to the partnership are:
Himanshu Deora, a litigator who has extensive trademark prosecution experience. Deora also has experienced in enforcement and alternative dispute resolution methods. He regularly appears before judicial and quasi-judicial bodies such as the Supreme Court of India, various high courts and district courts, the former Intellectual Property Appellate Board, customs offices, the Trade Marks Registry, NCLT, NCDRC, etc. He has a proven track record for successful criminal enforcement matters against counterfeit issues in cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Kolkata and Jaipur. ZeusIP’s litigation team has diversified into non-IP matters, and he has been working on such assignments regularly and advising clients in diverse matters.
Sumit Prasad, whose speciality lies in trademark portfolio management. He also has extensive experience working the copyright and industrial designs spaces. His expertise extends beyond India to South Asia, where he has experience in both prosecution and enforcement matters.
Natasha Bali, who has experience in trademark portfolio management, including pre-filing strategy, prosecution hygiene checks and strategy formulation, oppositions/cancellations advisories and enforcement strategies. She also has experience with designs and copyrights.
Aarohan Bansal, who has experience in managing and developing intellectual property portfolios of companies in industries ranging from pharmaceuticals, telecoms, heavy manufacturing, electronics, renewable energy and FMCG. His practice is focused on contentious and non-contentious trademark, design and copyright work, including prosecution, oppositions, cancellations and appeals before the Trade Marks Registry and the Intellectual Property Appellate Board. He manages intellectual property portfolios through their entire life-cycle – from selection and adoption to registration and enforcement.
