The Latest Firm Entering South Korea’s Legal Market

International law firm Bird & Bird is the latest firm to enter South Korea’s liberalized legal market. The firm has inked a cooperation agreement with Hwang Mok Park. Bird & Bird, which already has a presence in Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong and Singapore, has also entered into cooperation agreements in Australia, China and Malaysia in recent months.
“We are very excited to be entering into the cooperation agreement with Hwang Mok Park,” said Bird & Bird CEO David Kerr. “They have a strong base of multinational clients and a broad portfolio of interesting work. We have experienced a significant increase in client demand in the region and this agreement reflects our plans to develop an integrated Asia-Pacific offering.”
