Raj Davé Has Joined Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman
Raj Davé, who heads the George Washington University Law School India Projecta programme which focuses on the international and domestic dimensions of patent law and which sponsors conferences in India for legal scholars, judges, lawyers, business leaders and government officials, has joined Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman’s Northern Virginia office as a partner in the firm’s IP practice. He joined Pillsbury from the Washington office of IP boutique firm Darby & Darby, where he focused on counselling, patent prosecution, patent opinion, interference and patent litigation in the areas of chemistry, material science, biotechnology and electronics.

Davé represents US and foreign clients in biochips, biotechnology, business method, chemistry, electronics, internet and software, optics, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications and other technologies. He has also carried out extensive due diligence analysis on patents on gaming and financial transactions.
