Malaysian law firm rebrands as Teng Sheng & Fatima

Malaysian law firm Sheng & Co. has rebranded and is now operating as Teng, Sheng & Fatima (TSF Law). The rebranding effort follows the admission of corporate M&A lawyers George Teng and Athira Fatima H. as new partners.
TSF Law was founded by David Lim, whose areas of expertise include mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, licensing and regulatory advisory, entertainment, digital asset, renewable energy project advisory and other corporate commercial transactions. He has advised domestic and international clients in transactions involving companies in industries such as aviation, insurance, fund management, renewable energy, healthcare, online marketplace platforms, commodities and oil and gas.
“Malaysia is seeing a surge in M&A activity and foreign investment interest, driven by a strong governmental push for foreign investments in Malaysia. TSF Law, as a firm spearheaded by three partners who specialize in corporate and M&A matters, is well positioned to ride this wave,” said Lim.
Teng and Fatima have worked closely with Lim in prior roles, having previously been colleagues at D&P Law Group where Lim worked. Teng recently worked at Donovan & Ho; Fatima formerly worked at Wong & Partners.
With the admission of Teng and Fatima, TSF currently counts three partners and three associates in its ranks. In addition to M&A, the firm has fintech, music and entertainment, trademark management, employment, licensing and regulatory advice, commercial agreements and investment and joint venture practice groups.
