Khaitan & Co Leads Passing Off Suit

Khaitan & Co has instituted a suit before the Bombay High Court on behalf of Sopariwala against New Delhi-based Kuber Khaini and Another for infringement of trademark and copyright and for passing off actions for un-authorized use of similar trade dress by the defendants. The Court granted interim orders in terms of infringement of trademark and copyright and passing off restraining the Defendants from using the infringing trade dress. Adheesh Nargolkar, principal associate, led the Khaitan & Co team.
