Holly Sara joins Gilbert + Tobin in Sydney

Holly Sara has joined Gilbert + Tobin as a partner in the firm’s disputes and investigations team in Sydney. Sara is a highly regarded litigator with extensive experience advising on some of Australia’s most complex commercial disputes, class actions and regulatory investigations.

Sara’s arrival builds on the recent appointment of Daniel Moloney to the disputes and investigations team in Melbourne. It reflects the firm’s ongoing investment in top-tier litigation talent to meet growing client demand in complex commercial and regulatory disputes, the firm said in a statement.

Sara brings experience acting in high value and reputationally sensitive multibillion-dollar litigation, including class actions, regulatory enforcement and major commercial disputes across sectors such as financial services, healthcare and life sciences, consumer goods, energy and resources and technology. She works on high-stakes class actions involving shareholder claims, product liability, financial products, unfair contract terms and ESG risks, and also regularly acts in significant investigations and inquiries led by ASIC, ACCC, royal commissions and parliamentary inquiries.

“We are delighted to welcome Holly to the partnership,” said the firm’s co-founder and chair Danny Gilbert. “Her energy, ambition and commercial judgement strengthen our ability to support clients in their most significant disputes. Together with the recent arrival of Daniel Moloney, Holly’s appointment underscores our commitment to being the firm of choice for complex dispute resolution.”

Sara will work closely with the broader G+T disputes and investigations team nationally, providing strategic and responsive advice to leading corporates, institutions and boards navigating an increasingly complex risk and regulatory landscape.
