Hogan Lovells Starts Doing IP In The Middle East

Hogan Lovells has launched an intellectual property, media and technology practice in the Middle East. The practice is being led out of the firm’s Dubai ofice and led by Peter Hansen. Hansen joined the firm’s Tokyo ofice in 2012, having previously lived and worked in the Middle East since 2001. The IPMT team is currently providing advice concerning the cancellation in the Dubai courts of a UAE-registered trademark, securing the withdrawal of copyright infringing mobile phone accessories in Dubai shopping malls and trademark registration and third-party issues in Saudi Arabia.
