Harriet Tregonning has joined Baldwins in the chemistry and life sciences team in the firm’s Auckland office. Tregonning is a registered patent attorney and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science (Neuroscience) as well as a Masters of Bioscience Enterprise. Her post-graduate business qualifications provide a strong commercial grounding for the advice she provides clients. She handles prosecution of patent applications and resolution of disputes before the New Zealand and Australian patent offices, in addition to advising on patentability and freedom to operate. Her main practice areas are in the fields of biotechnology, agricultural technologies, and animal and human health.
