FLAsia 2026 set to showcase IP commercialization under new organizer
29 January 2026
Franchising & Licensing Asia (FLAsia), Asia’s leading franchising and licensing trade event, will take place from August 13 to 15, 2026, at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre, returning for its 21st edition.
The 2026 edition will be organized by MP Singapore and presented by the Franchising & Licensing Association (Singapore), marking a new chapter for the event under a new organizer partnership. The collaboration aims to expand FLAsia’s regional reach, improve industry engagement and emphasizes business outcomes for exhibitors and visitors across Asia.
The event is expected to attract over 7,000 trade visitors and 250 exhibiting brands spanning franchising, brand and character licensing, retail concepts and emerging business models. It will bring together brand owners, franchisors, licensors, investors and entrepreneurs seeking partnership and market entry opportunities, both locally and internationally.
The Brand Licensing Village will also return in 2026, spotlighting locally developed intellectual property that has already been successfully commercialized. It is designed to connect visitors with licensing specialists and discover market-ready IP, supporting collaboration, IP growth and brand extension within the regional licensing system.
Also returning is the Chinese Franchise Conference, reflecting ongoing interest from Chinese brands and investors exploring expansion into Southeast Asia. The conference will offer market insights, sector perspectives and networking opportunities tailored to Chinese franchise operators and regional partners.
In addition, FLAsia 2026 will feature international pavilions and brand participation from markets including South Korea and Thailand. This is alongside curated business sessions and dedicated zones highlighting innovation, IP development and brand growth.
“Partnering with MP Singapore marks a dynamic leap forward for FLAsia. Together, we are amplifying the event’s influence and reach, ensuring the franchising and licensing community thrives as industry surges across Asia,” said Shee Wen Gan, president of the Franchising & Licensing Association (Singapore).
Jason Ng, managing director of MP Group, said: “FLAsia is a well-established platform with strong industry trust. By leveraging MP’s global network, we aim to connect brands and stakeholders in ways that drive tangible outcomes for exhibitors and visitors.”
FLAsia has established itself as a key platform for brands seeking growth, market entry and licensing opportunities in Asia.
