Ella Cannon has joined CIE Legal as a Melbourne-based partner. In a statement, the firm said that her arrival reflects its investments in commercial and privacy/data protection work, as well as its expansion of its regulatory practice into healthcare, specifically the digital health market. 

Cannon is a highly regarded commercial, privacy and regulatory lawyer with more than a decade of experience advising some of Australia’s significant stakeholders and innovative organizations in the technology and health sectors. Her practice spans complex commercial contracting, supply and procurement, privacy and data protection, and specialized regulatory advice – particularly for digital health providers and high-growth technology platforms.
