DLA Piper Has Named Erwin Purba Special Counsel In Singapore

DLA Piper has named Erwin Purba as a special counsel in Singapore. He will focus his work on Indonesia. Purba brings more than 17 years’ experience in Southeast Asia in practice areas including telecommunications, media and information technology (TMT) and broadcasting, including regulatory work in the TMT sector. He also has significant transactional experience in the areas of foreign investment, joint ventures and mergers and acquisitions, both in Indonesia and in the Asia Pacific region.“Indonesia is a critical part of our South East Asia strategy. Erwin’s arrival provides a substantial boost to our Indonesia credentials as well as our regional TMT offering,” said Matt Glynn, Singapore country managing partner and Asia head of intellectual property and technology.
Purba joins from Astro, a crossmedia operator in the Asia Pacific region, where he was a senior counsel in the legal department.
