Bird & Bird Cooperates With Truman Hoyle
30 April 2013
Global firm Bird & Bird has entered into a cooperation agreement with Sydney-based law firm Truman Hoyle. The firms share strengths in key sectors including technology, telecommunications and media. Both firms offer transactional and contentious capabilities in corporate and commercial, competition and regulatory; dispute resolution and IP; infrastructure and employment.
Under the cooperation agreement the firms will be able to jointly-market their services to clients. This will enable Truman Hoyle to access Bird & Bird’s international offices and relationships around the world, while Bird & Bird can tap into Truman Hoyle’s expertise as part of its global offering.
“It makes sense for us to formalize an agreement in Australia,” says David Kerr, Bird & Bird CEO. “It is one of the top 10 largest knowledge economies in the world and we already work for clients in most of the world’s top economies.” Elsewhere in Asia, Bird & Bird also has offices in Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong and Singapore, as well as other close relationships with other firms in the Asia-Pacific region.
