Azmi & Associates Has Reportedly Poached Jeffrey Tan Yiew Sang From Raslan Loong

Azmi & Associates has reportedly poached Jeffrey Tan Yiew Sang from Raslan Loong. Tan, who will become a partner at Azmi, will head the firm’s technology practice.
Tan, who formerly headed the IP and technology at Raslan Loong, has extensive experience in drafting of conditions of contract for technology procurement and outsourcing and advising on transactions involving outsourcing of IT services, software licensing, procurement of hardware and software for large multi-million dollar IT projects, systems integration and biotechnology acquisition. His experience in franchising includes negotiating and drafting local and international master franchise agreements, advising on legal strategies for the protection of intellectual property rights, and conducting a wide variety of franchise programmes for local and foreign public listed entities in Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia and Saudi Arabia.
He was also involved in the development of the Malaysian Government blueprint for co-branding and conversion franchising, where he was the consulting lead engaged in an international market research study on good franchise practices.
