Ashurst Appoints Nina Fitzgerald As Partner

International law firm Ashurst has boosted its intellectual property team with the appointment of Nina Fitzgerald as a partner in its Sydney IP practice. Fitzgerald focuses on patent litigation, but she has also acted in a range of intellectual property law matters including in the trademark, copyright, designs and confidential information areas. She joins from Deacons in Hong Kong, where she has been since 2015. Prior to joining Deacons, she spent eight years with Herbert Smith Freehills in Australia and then Hong Kong where she also focussed on patent litigation. This appointment follows on from the appointment of IP partner David Wilkinson to Ashurst’s London team and the promotion of Stuart D’Aloisio as partner in the Melbourne IP practice.
