Song Zhu Has Joined Hogan Lovells As A Partner

Song Zhu has joined Hogan Lovells’ intellectual property practice as a partner in its San Francisco office. Zhu represents multinational, automotive, and technology clients in IP litigation and other matters, particularly in US, European and Chinese markets.
Zhu brings significant IP and IP litigation capabilities to the firm, and particularly strong experience working with Chinese companies and global companies operating in China. Zhu, who earned his PhD in automotive engineering, previously served as a partner in the intellectual property and technology practice and as co-chair of the automotive industry group at Squire, Sanders & Dempsey.
His recent representative litigation matters include representing a US client in a patent enforcement action against several Germany- and Chinabased companies, representing a China-based company in computer software and trade secret litigation in the US and representing a US client in a patent infringement case in China against several companies in China. He also has extensive experience in patent prosecution and has represented clients on patent aspects of dozens of mergers and acquisitions and due diligence reviews.
