Singapore Sees Changes to Jurisdiction of Copyright Tribunal

While Singapore’s Copyright Tribunal has previously been empowered to only adjudicate on limited types of copyright licences and licence schemes, recent amendments to the Copyright Act would expand the jurisdiction of the tribunal to allow it to hear disputes on all types of copyright works and in relation to all licensable forms of exploitation. Cheah Yew Kim explores the ramifications of the amendments.
