Matthew Glynn Has Been Named Country Managing Partner At DLA Piper In Singapore

Technology and telecoms lawyer Matthew Glynn has been named the role of country managing partner at DLA Piper in Singapore. Glynn takes over from Martin David, who had been the firm’s managing partner in Singapore since 2008. David will continue in his role as head of the firm’s Asia finance and projects group and as head of the firm’s energy and water and mining sectors for Asia.
Glynn is head of the firm’s intellectual property and technology (IPT) team in Asia, as well as head of the technology sector for the Asia region. He will continue in both these roles, as well as that of managing partner for Singapore. He joined the firm in 2006 to lead the Middle East IPT practice. He relocated back to Asia in September 2010 where he assumed the same role for the firm’s Asian offices.
