Jeanette Chan Appointed Managing Partner Of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison's China Practice

Jeanette Chan, who heads of China practice group and the Asia communications and technology practice group at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison in Hong Kong, has been appointed managing partner of the firm’s China practice. Chan has practiced at Paul, Weiss since 1986 in the firm’s New York, Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong offices. Her practice focuses on foreign direct investments into China, with an emphasis on joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions and private equity investments. She has also been an active participant in the Chinese telecommunications, IT and media markets since 1994, when they first opened to foreign companies.
