Frank Wu has joined Dentons as a senior partner in its Shanghai office, where he specializes in customs and international trade, with a focus on providing advisory and legal services related to customs, trade and tax. His practice areas also covers cross-border investment, corporate legal affairs, criminal defense, and litigation and dispute resolution.
Prior to joining Dentons, Wu was a partner at Big Four consultancy firm PwC, where he provided customs and trade advisory services.
Wu has worked extensively with multinational and Fortune 500 companies on matters including customs valuation, tariff classification, free trade agreements, origin, market access feasibility research, regional distribution center set-up and location studies, processing trade, bonded warehouse management, duty-exemption equipment, customs audit and investigation case defense, administrative review and litigation.
His industry experience covers automotive, industrial manufacturing, pharmaceutical, medical device, chemicals, high technology, electronics, mining, retail and consumer, etc. He is a regular speaker and specialist at customs and international trade events organized by professional associations and institutes and has delivered presentations on various customs and trade topics.
