Anna LJ Hwang has been named partner by Baker & McKenzie. Hwang, who is based in Taipei, concentrates her practice on dispute resolution involving civil and criminal law, corporate and securities law, government procurement law and intellectual property laws, in particular patent law. In addition to her expertise in local laws and regulatory compliance issues, she also has substantial experience in representing local and multinational corporations in various courts in Taiwan and international litigation/arbitration. Hwang was seconded to a Japanese heavy-industry company’s project office in Taiwan from September 2005 to February 2006, when she was responsible for managing the company’s contractual matters.
